New Music from Justice - “Civilization”
Justice is back with their sophomore project!!!! The French electronic music duo made a small splash around five years ago with their jam, “D.A.N.C.E.” - and then it became a mainstream smash around ‘09 when it was sampled on Wale’s 100 Miles & Running mixtape on the track “W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E.” - and then on the remix scene (the Justice Remix of MGMT’s Electric Feel still rocks my socks). Definitely bumping to this track for a while. This is even more motivation for me to finally learn how to drive and get a car, so that I can listen to this track with the windows down, and all that jazz. Til, then I’ll try to not awkwardly dance while jamming to this song and walking down the street at the same time.

K.R.I.T. knocks it out of the park again. Official vid for his track “Dreamin’” - idk how he managed to embody the message of every motivating black movie ever (from Coach Carter to Remember the Titans) but he did. Man, Big K.R.I.T. is one of the few southern rappers for me that successfully finds the happy medium between ign’ant country shit and super-intellectual-crack-rap. Basically, the dude’s got bars.
